Having been a North Shore resident for the last 18 years, I think very
highly of my surroundings. I would recommend North and West Vancouver
as a great choice if you are looking for a new place to call home.
West Vancouver itself houses some of the most stunning parks and green
spaces in the Lower Mainland. West Vancouver offers a diverse landscape
for a assortment of recreational choices, as well as the scenic
forested mountains and rocky shoreline. The community of West Vancouver
prides itself on having the most waterfront parks per capita within the
lower mainland.
The West Vancouver Parks Department manages about 110 parks for
recreational use. There are well over 100 kilometers of urban and
wilderness paths and trails that connect the waterfront, open spaces
and parks to the community itself.
