DUNDARAVE - MY HOME

I am a West Vancouver resident, and a big fan of the neighbourhood I live in.

Dundarave Village is quaint and charming. Dundarave is located in West Vancouver, on Marine Drive. It is home to unbelievable shopping, cafes, restaurants and any services you could need. Dundarave Village, Dundarave Park and Dundarave Pier are well-liked areas along Marine Drive and the shoreline between 24th & 25th Streets, in West Vancouver. Residents of the area, like me, shop on popular Marine Drive, eat at the fine and casual restaurants and stop for coffees and desserts at the various shops designed to tempt your every craving.

Dundarave Village, Park and Pier is the popular area along Marine Drive and the shoreline between 24th & 25th Streets. This is an open air community centre with the relaxed atmosphere of a holiday destination. Residents of the area shop on Marine Drive, have meals, coffees and desserts amongst the variety of shops. There is even an old style service station on the block (not your your high-tech self-serve version). The park and pier offer many spots for relaxation as well as envigorating power walks along the seawall. The restaurant at the foot of 25th Street has been known by many names including Peppi's and the current Beach House. It has heritage significance due to its locale for social gatherings in the early 1900's. The pier is a prime viewpoint with an all encompassing perspective of Burrard Inlet and English Bay (from the Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park to UBC on Point Grey and finally to Vancouver Island across the Strait of Georgia).
